It consists of tart cherry concentrate powder, isomaltulose, inulin and Lactobacillus fermentum (50mg, 5 billion CFU/2g). Our premium drink mix comes in convenient 2.5 gram sachets – each serving of which delivers 1500 mg of tart cherry complex and 50 mg of Lactobacillus fermentum probiotics. The tart cherry concentrate powder in our drink mix contains high levels of antioxidants that possess natural prebiotic properties. Tart Cherry Concentrate Powder**
Also known as sour cherries, tart cherries are the small, bright red fruits that grow on the tart cherry plant (Prunus cerasus), which is native to certain parts o Europe and Asia. Tart cherries have a unique polyphenol composition, which includes chlorogenic acid, in particular. This unique polyphenol mixture allows tart cherries to have up to five times higher antioxidant levels than other cherry varieties. Other potent antioxidants in tart cherries include quercetin, ellagic acid, proanthocyanidin, flavonoids, phenolic compounds, carotenoids, anthocyanins and vitamins A, C and E. Tart cherries also contain vital nutrients, such as fiber, copper, manganese, potassium, calcium, protein, folic acid, magnesium, iron, zinc, vitamin K and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
Lactobacillus fermentum (50mg, 5 billion CFU/2g)**
A naturally-occurring component of the human microbiota, Lactobacillus fermentum is a Gram-positive lactic acid bacterium that is commonly found in the human. Isomaltulose**
Produced from sucrose via enzymatic arrangement, isomaltulose is a naturally-occurring disaccharide that is composed of sucrose and glucose.
